I started to recite the buddha name and i stopped to smoke 阿弥陀佛

I started to recite 阿弥陀佛 and i stopped to smoke it gibe me inner peace.

In Brazil, there is a chinese group that i am member of it. It is maitreya buddha. I have learned chinese by myself. I started this year to recite amituofo, and i sttopped to smoke. 阿弥陀佛 Amituofo bring inner peace.

"All is pure for the pure", in the bible say it Budda doutrine taught us about "pure mind". last week i startee to reciting amitabha buddha' name, and i feel my anxiety is finishing and STOPPED TO SMOKE . I FELT PEACEFUL.

I wanted to get into prayer beads for buddhism. But I knew they weren't an accessory. He's right, they are a tool for concentrating the mind.

Buddhism is science, which helps to study our own mind and train it to be wise.

It is appointed unto man to die once, then comes the judgement. You cannot deliver yourself, or anyone else. The Word of God says our righteousness is like filthy rags.God provided one way of Salvation for ALL mankind. There's not one method for this people and another one for others. The God who created all things provided your salvation through His Son Jesus the Christ, the deliverer and redeemer of your soul. Salvation through buddhism is based on your good works and merit. Again, you are unworthy and powerless to save yourself or anyone else. After this life there certainly is a lovely peaceful destiny waiting for you, and the good news is that God the Father who loves you made it simple. However, as you know, there is also darkness in this world, the spirit realm where evil harmful spirits cause all kinds of sickness and suffering. Suffering is not caused by desire and you try to eliminate desire will not stop the suffering of this life. And because these evil spirits exist, so does hell and the lake of fire where they will be cast into in God's time (it's in the bible, read it) God did not create hell for people, He created it to cast the devil and his demons into it , and they will be done away with forever, but so will all people who choose to reject the offer of salvation through His Son Jesus who loves you and is willing for you to return to Him. The word of God says it is by the grace of God that we are saved, through faith (in Jesus), and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. It's all in the bible people. You won't find deliverence in anyone else but the Son of God. Do not be deceived by ideas that 'sound reasonable', Re incarnation is a lie from the devil to keep you from finding the truth about your destiny and God's plan for your future. Jesus said you must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God. You canbe born again , in this life, now. There is no buddhas and pure lands waiting. Jesus Christ has been watching you since the day you were born, He loves you and He is willing for you to return to Him as His sons and Daughters. The bible says that to all those who believe on His name , He gave the right to become children of God. It's that simple. The blood of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross to redeem you back for Himself is what will save you, not buddhas, not chanting, not good works, not merits. Call out to Jesus. He is waiting for you, He loves you and is waiting to restore you back to a loving relationship with the Father, who is the God of Heaven . Even the chinese worshipped and served the same God as the jews and practiced the border sacrifice in the temple of Heaven in China. They knew the truth, but the lies of Buddas plan of salvation by works had deceived many. Do not be deceived. JESUS is LORD. He's waiting for you. Talk to Him and receive Him as your Lord and savior before it's to late.

success is dependending on others supports or others components or other natural causes. a seed needs good soils, water, right heat and care so animals or the environment damage it. if you haven't succeed, yet, then you need to find the right people and place and time

do good, say good and think good = good karma and inverting is bad karma. it is easy to understand to the point in this video.

If a criminal wears a mala isn't he/she welcome. Shinran quite explicitly said "that a sinner with faith will be made welcome in the Pure Land - even more welcome than a good man who has faith and pride."

It is great that Master Sheng Yen acknowledges the contribution of Japanese Buddhists. One of the concerns I had with websites like CBETA is they exclude Japanese texts, even though they have a catalogue of Chinese texts according to the Taishō canon, they exclude volumes 56-84, which are Japanese.
